Frequently asked questions related to master's students

1. What is the pass mark in the remedial courses for master's students?

50%.

2. What is the minimum amount of time a student spends at the university to complete the requirements for a master's degree?

Three semesters.

3. What is the maximum amount of time a student spends at the university to complete the requirements for a master's degree?

Eight semesters except summer.

4. What is the minimum student workload per semester?

Three credit hours.

5. Is it equivalent to subjects studied by the student at the master's stage in another Jordanian university?

The Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, based on the recommendation of the Department Council and the recommendation of the College Committee, may equate for a student transfer

From Jordanian universities, some of the subjects studied by him are equivalent to the subjects of postgraduate Master's programs, provided that no the equivalent subjects exceed (9) credit hours, and his mark in any of them is not less than (76%) or equivalent, and it should not have been more than five years ago, and a successful result is recorded in his\her record and is not included in the calculation of his cumulative average.
